Welcome to the EVO Lab.
We are a happy gaggle of researchers broadly interested in evolution and behavioural ecology, most notably in the context of understanding sex (with an unhealthy fascination with sperm!). We work mainly on freshwater fishes and broadcast spawning marine invertebrates, but as our focus is on the questions, not the systems used to address them, we will gladly study anything that furthers our understanding of these topics.
Our current projects focus on sperm competition, sperm senescence, condition dependence, and understanding the dynamics of sperm-egg interactions in broadcast spawners and guppies, as well as a whole lot more.
Feel free to contact lab members for further information.
